Amazing Facelift

This client approached us to take his father's old shack and turn it into a cute little house where the family could meet for reunions, etc. The interior walls were sheeted with chip board. The ceilings were as low as 6' in some areas. A 12'x12' bedroom was an addition that was set next to the house and was never attached. The house had a rusted out metal roof and all windows and doors were beyond repair.

We redesigned the house by raising the ceiling to 8'. We put a 20'x5' addition on the back of the house to create a full bath with laundry hookup and covered back porch. We completely rewired and replumbed the home. We replaced all chipboard with drywall and put in 1"x6" tongue and groove pine wood flooring stained dark walnut. We designed and built cabinets using existing enameled cast iron sink. Custom colonial trim completes the interior.

We installed vinyl siding and new metal roofing. New windows and doors were installed throughout the house. Front door had to be modified because the entry door height was only 6' 4". We also built a custom screen door to compliment the front of the house.

Sand set stone walkways compliment the entry with a new lawn, complete with, custom yard light and wood bridge over wet weather creek.
